Our Story
Karmic Debt Comics grew out of a lifelong love of drawing and storytelling. For me, it started back in Catholic school, when comics weren’t considered “real art.” While classmates painted landscapes and fruit bowls, I filled my notebooks with superheroes, villains, and strange worlds that got more eye-rolls from teachers than encouragement. The nuns were convinced it was a waste of time—but those doodles became the foundation of everything I create today.
Being “the kid who drew comics” wasn’t always easy, but it taught me an important truth: the best stories are often the ones that don’t fit neatly into a box. That lesson carried through into adulthood and ultimately shaped Karmic Debt Comics.
My mission now is simple: to tell stories that are bold, funny, heartfelt, and just a little rebellious. Through vibrant artwork and unique narratives, I want to make comics that can make you laugh, make you think, and maybe even remind you what it felt like to sit at the misfit table in the cafeteria. What was once seen as wasted time has become a lifelong pursuit—and at Karmic Debt Comics, that pursuit is just getting started.
A little about me…
I’ve been drawing comics since Catholic school, when doodling superheroes in my notebooks got me in trouble with the nuns. What started as “wasting time” turned into a lifelong passion for storytelling.
Since then, I’ve self-published graphic novels (Welcome to My World, Born into Samsara), launched the ongoing series Tiny Tots and I’m working on its spin-off Punitive Measures, and released new stories on GlobalComix. My style blends bold colors, humor, and heart—with a dash of rebellion.
At the end of the day, I make comics for the misfits, dreamers, and anyone who loves a good story told with a wink.
